Why is mountain biking good for children?<\/strong><\/h3>

Fresh air, movement and of course lots of fun<\/strong>– do you need more reasons to start mountain biking with your children? I’d say that’s more than enough, wouldn’t you? But if you are still stumped<\/strong>, maybe this will convince you: mountain biking encourages children to be sporty, trains them in endurance, promotes coordination and balance<\/strong>, improves their ability to concentrate, and, <\/strong>over time, gives them more self-confidence <\/strong> . <\/strong>Be careful, though:<\/strong> the most important thing to consider is still fun: something that should never be overlooked when mountain biking with children! <\/p>

Satisfaction and fun for children<\/strong> obviously mean something different than for adults. Forget about the meters gained in elevation gain (maybe they’ll get there with time!) and aim instead for a good family ride<\/strong>, darting over mud puddles, jumping over bumps, and going through narrow trails deep in the woods. <\/p>

One last thing:<\/strong> You don’t have to think about the perfect bike ride in the Alps or the exciting ride in the bike park: puddles, bumps, and dirt roads can be found just about anywhere, even just outside your home!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Qundo to start? Actually as soon as possible! Biking is the perfect preparation for mountain biking because the child learns good balance. Ideally, it is best to start with a balance bike (bike without pedals) on country trails and gravel roads: the child learns to be in tune with different surfaces and understands how to keep balance on two wheels. The transition from a pedal-free bike to a regular bike or mountain bike will then happen automatically with time. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
