{"id":2546,"date":"2025-03-28T09:06:49","date_gmt":"2025-03-28T09:06:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/feltrebiketour.it\/feltre-e-dintorni\/shrine-of-saints-victor-and-crown\/"},"modified":"2025-06-10T08:21:02","modified_gmt":"2025-06-10T08:21:02","slug":"shrine-of-saints-victor-and-crown","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/feltrebiketour.it\/en\/feltre\/shrine-of-saints-victor-and-crown\/","title":{"rendered":"Shrine of Saints Victor and Crown"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On the spur of Mount Miesna, overhanging a cliff from which the marvelous <a href=\"https:\/\/it.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Vette_Feltrine\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Feltre Dolomites<\/a> can be glimpsed, stands the imposing <a href=\"http:\/\/www.santivittoreecorona.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sanctuary and Convent of the Martyred Saints Victor and Crown<\/a>, Protectors of the ancient <a href=\"https:\/\/feltrebiketour.it\/it\/prenota-bike-tour\/per-famiglie\/126-basilica-ss-viottore-e-corona-fbt013\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">City and Diocese of Feltre.<\/a><br \/>\nBuilt between 1096 and 1101 as part of the curtain wall placed in defense of the territory, the Sanctuary allows a 360-degree view of the surrounding areas, giving visitors the spectacle of a breathtaking panorama.<\/p>\n<p>Of Romanesque setting, but with obvious Byzantine influences, the complex contains real gems: among cuigli stupendous frescoes of the Giotto school, indelible evidence of a very refined decorative taste.<\/p>\n<p>Of great value is the organ donated in 1861 by Emperor Franz Joseph of Austria.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"La leggenda delle reliquie dei santi martiri Vittore e Corona.
